Kelvin is a RIBA Chartered and UK Registered Architect. Born in Hong Kong, he moved to UK in 1989 where he grew up and received his secondary + higher education. In 2000 he graduated at University of the Arts London in interior & spatial design, then obtained his degree & professional diploma in architecture at University of East London, and his certificate in professional practice at Bartlett UCL. He worked in some of London's best architectural studios before relocating to Asia in 2011. In 2015, He founded TEA in Hong Kong.
Kelvin has worked at several award winning international offices in London, Hong Kong and Beijing. Projects include W-Hotel, K11 Beijing, SK HQ Shanghai, London Muslim Centre Extension and Twickenham Academy. His experience includes hotel, retail, office, education, mixed use (residential + commercial), cultural & religious institutions and urban master planning.
Kelvin's encounters with different cultures and lifestyles make him particularly talented in finding stories, inspirations and ideas to create forms and emotional spaces. He participated in SZ/HK Bi-City Biennale 2013, Beijing Lighting International Festival 2011, Beijing Design Week 2015, and was a RIBA (HK Chapter) Education Sub-committee member in 2013.
