Prof. Dietmar Eberle

born 1952, studied at Vienna University of Technology in Austria. Co-founder of the Baukünstler design movement in Vorarlberg, Austria, in 1979.1985-2010 Co-operation and joint practice with Carlo Baumschlager. Teaching posts in Hannover, Vienna, Linz, Zurich, New York and Darmstadt since 1983. Professor of Architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland, and head of its Centre for Cultural Studies in Architecture since 1999. Dean of the Faculty of Architecture from 2003 to 2005.
Partner - Saigon
born 1982, studied architecture at the University of Civil Engineering in Hanoi and advanced architecture studies at the ETH in Zurich. From 2003 to 2008 he worked in international architectural practices like ARB, Finenco. He joined Baumschlager Eberle Architekten Vietnam as representative architect in 2009.

Hans Ullrich Grassmann
Partner - St. Gallen
After graduating from Leibniz Universität Hannover and following several stays in Paris for work and study purposes he began his professional career in 1986 with the office of Baumschlager Eberle Architekten, which had been set up in 1985. After three years freelance work he became a shareholder in 1990. He established his own architectural practice in Bregenz in 1993 where he was active until 2000, when he assumed responsibility as managing director and shareholder in the office of Baumschlager Eberle Architekten in Lochau. In 2004, finally, he took charge within the Baumschlager Eberle Group of competitions and design. In 2006 it was decided to set up a separate design and competition department in the form of the office Baumschlager Eberle Architekten in St. Gallen, which took on the function of a competence centre. In conjunction with a number of different projects he took temporary charge in 2008 of the office Baumschlager Eberle Architekten in Beijing. Since 2008 he has been a shareholder in Baumschlager Eberle Architekten St. Gallen and Baumschlager Eberle Architekten Hong Kong and since 2012 in Baumschlager Eberle Architekten Paris. Various projects carried out in France ultimately led to the founding of a new office, which as Baumschlager Eberle Architekten Paris has represented the interests of the Baumschlager Eberle Group since 2012. In addition to designing and managing various projects Hans Ullrich Grassmann has been involved in teaching activities (HAWK Hildesheim, Leibniz Universität Hannover) and he regularly gives lectures to both local and international audiences (London, Oslo, Paris, Sofia, Dublin, Zurich, Hanover, Dresden, Merano, Venice, Göttingen, Bergen, Cannes, Copenhagen, ...).
Partner - St. Gallen
born in 1968, received his diploma from the FH in Vaduz, Principality of Liechtenstein. He joined Baumschlager Eberle Architekten in 1992 and was project architect since 1996 in Lochau and since 1998 in Vaduz. In 2001 he became member of the management Lochau. Since 2008 managing partner in St. Gallen.

Prof. Dr. Beisi Jia
Partner - Hong Kong
Beisi Jia is a consultant in the Hong Kong office. He is an associate professor in Architecture Design, Housing and History at University of Hong Kong since 1996. He is the joint coordinator for Working Commission W104-Open Building Implementation in International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB). Since 1993 he has been an architectural design consultant with C-H Architectural & Planning Design (International) Limited. Beisi holds a Bachelor Degree of Architecture from Nanjing Institute of Technology (NIT China) and a Postgraduate Diploma from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). He obtained a Ph.D in Architecture History and Theory in 1990 through a joint program of NIT and ETH Zurich. From 1990-1993, he held the position of Lecturer in Architectural Design in Southeast University, Nanjing, China. From 1993 to 1996, Beisi was a Research fellow and Post-Doctorate at ETH Zurich, Switzerland.

born 1978, he studied at the Technical University Innsbruck and ETH Zurich. He joined the office Baumschlager Eberle Architekten in 2000. He worked in Bejing and St. Gallen. Since 2010 he is Ziviltechniker, since 2015 partner at Baumschlager Eberle Architekten in Lustenau.

born 1965, trained in Graz, Austria. Employed at the Lochau office from 1989 to 1999. Establishment of the Vaduz office in 1999. Manager of the Vaduz office since 1999 and managing partner since 2007.

born 1970, graduated from the university of applied sciences, FH BB Basel (CH), from 1997 to 2005 he worked in several architectural offices in Vienna, since 2006 he worked as a project architect in our office in Vienna, since 2010 he is a managing partner of the Zurich office.
Partnerin - Paris
born 1968, graduated from Hanover University in Germany in 1995. She worked as an assistant teacher at the University of Hannover and for renowned Parisian offices, before joining Baumschlager Eberle Architekten in Paris as Managing Director.
