Lead Researcher

Position:Lead Researcher
Type:Full-time or Part-time
Location:Guangzhou office
Main responsibilities
1.Conduct thorough research on architectural projects, including but not limited to historical context, site analysis, and relevant precedents.
2.Collaborate with project teams to gather and analyze information that informs the initial stages of architectural projects.
3.Produce clear and concise documentation to communicate research findings internally and externally.
4.Author comprehensive research papers, reports, articles and publication on architectural and planning topics.
5.Work closely with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate research insights into the early stages of project development.
7.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute research-driven perspectives to ongoing projects and present the project presentation to the clients on behalf of the design team.
Position requirements
1.Prefer master or Phd in architecture or a related field.
2.Strong academic record with a focus on research and scholarly activities.
3.Proven experience in architectural research, with a portfolio of academic writing.
4.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5.Proficiency in using research tools, databases, and relevant software.
6.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
7.Familiarity with pre-project research methodologies and architectural analysis.
8.Demonstrated passion for pushing the boundaries of architectural knowledge and contributing to the evolution of the field.
9.Native English speaker or bilingual.
