Marketing Manager

Jaeger Kahlen Partner  is looking for a Marketing Manager with 5+ years’ experience, preferably in the architecture/engineering/construction industry. The Marketing Manager will help lead JKP’s marketing efforts and manage a marketing coordinator.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Coordinate pursuit teams and assist in the completion of high-quality, persuasive proposals, marketing collateral, and presentations
  • Prepare media kits, including graphics, architectural illustration and content writing.
  • Prepare and coordinate award submissions, academic/commercial lectures.
  • Provide interview preparation and coaching
  • Manage, track and report marketing activities
  • Maintain firm’s website and social media presence working closely with senior staff
  • Perform market research to stay on top of industry trends
  • Provide public relations support to Principals (Press releases, article placement research, etc.)
  • Maintain marketing budget
  • Update website content as needed, working closely with a Principal
  • Inventory marketing materials and collateral
  • Assist with conference planning and speaker applications
  • Competitor research, company market value analysis.
 
Requirements:
 
  • 5+ years of marketing experience desired, preferably in the architectural industry
  • Proficiency in Chinese is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced/deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborative team player
  • Optimal organizational skills

Technical Architect

As a JKP Architectural Technical Designer, you will collaborate with our Project Leaders and Design Principals to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be capable in producing technical drawings, developing high-rise building core with a profound understanding of structural system, and can develop technical and aesthetic detailing (such as for curtain wall). Job Description
  • Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
  • Coordinate with clients, MEP and structure consultants through design development stage.
  • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet project objectives
  • Produce detail drawings in 2D & 3D, oversee production of graphic presentations and construction drawings
  • Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts

Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or foreign equivalent
  • 5+ years of as-built project experience
  • Proficiency in modeling using 2D software 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or SketchUp
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design software
  • Proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit would be a plus

Competition Design Architect

We are seeking a creative, disciplined, highly organized, and critical thinking Competition Design Architect to join our Shenzhen China office for projects ranging from large-scale high-rises to sophisticated cultural landmarks. You will be part of a fast-paced and rigorous design-oriented studio with a collaborative and supportive team environment dedicated to the passion for design perfection. You will contribute to the development of the design, lead and coordinate the team through the competition, to ensure the delivery of excellent results in a timely and organized manner.

Desired Skills and Expertise
  • Must have successful leading/management experience in large-scale projects and competitions. 
  • Must have successful experience in communicating with and overseeing model makers, rendering companies and graphic artists to ensure the results meet the design intent and deliver in a timely and organized manner.
  • Must be experienced in the different phases of large-scale and complex projects.  Excellent understanding of construction process and ability to set up and manage in-depth the designing process starting from the concept and until executive phase.
  • Good communication skills are required, including well-developed written, visual and verbal capabilities
  • Collaborative - you must be able to work effectively with others to help achieve the best solution for the competition team, the wider design team, and the client
  • You must have leadership qualities through taking initiative, problem-solving, showing assertiveness and enthusiasm

Architectural Intern

Successful candidates will have studied at accredited architecture schools for more than 4 semesters and must be able to work for a period of 6 - 12 months.
