Tourism development planning of the north hotspring

The planning area is located in the northwest corner of Chongqing and it is part of the Beibei District of Chongqing, with Jinyun Mountain in the west and both sides of the Jialing River in the middle. The planning area is about 600 hectares, including 5.0 km long west coast line and 6.5 km long east coast line. Chongqing has rich tourism resources, strange and beautiful natural landscapes, unique mountain city urban style, profound historical and cultural heritage and rich culture of Sichuan area.
The development strategy is, to build boutique culture and leisure resort area, international conference center and old town community relying on the reconstruction of Jingangbei old town; to build exemplary boutique health spa resort with international standard on both sides of Wentang Gorge, SLH hotel group and spa community relying on the existing high end SPAVILLA hotel facilities; to build public recreation,
sport, leisure and health resort in consideration of the public interest; finally, in linkage development with the hotel and spa facilities of Chengjiang area, to build Shili Hotspring into landscape, tourism and livable modern health spa leisure community, which is the city card and window of “Landscape Chongqing, Spa Capital”.
