The British Chamber Of Commerce In Belgium is a large premises situated in the heart of Brussels' commercial sector. The organisation aims to provide "an open and informal environment for businesses to meet and engage with their peers, key decision-makers and other stakeholders". SGIA was tasked with renovating and redesigning the space to facilitate the best means of achieving these aims - creating a business center - whilst also providing an aesthetic and modern decor that successfully communicated the brand. An awards area and hot-desking space were created and the reception area was formalised whilst retaining the existing reception desk. The flexibilty of the space was maintained by using different seating/lighting to delineate different areas, and darker colour zones to create more intimate spaces. The office was re-decorated throughout and finally the interior concept was unified with the design and commission of a new flooring mosaic that echoes key brand colours.

The result is a modern, light and open environment which will encourage the collaboration and communication that is the mission of the British Chamber Of Commerce In Belgium.
